Why NanoBridge?

Capability alone does not always create access. Promising entrepreneurs, producers and academic actors may have relevant ideas, products or knowledge while lacking sustained international visibility, commercial relationships, technology-ecosystem exposure or a credible route into the right platforms.

NanoBridge is being developed around this practical gap. Its purpose is to create a structured pathway through which selected participants may prepare for and connect with appropriate international environments.

What NanoBridge aims to enable

The programme is intended to improve readiness and access rather than promise a transaction. Depending on final programme design and participant fit, the pathway may support international visibility, relevant commercial introductions, exposure to technology ecosystems, mentoring, selected capability development, participation in appropriate international platforms and institutional relationship building.

How the programme may work

The operating model remains under development. The sequence below describes the current intended logic. Eligibility criteria, regional partners, programme duration and participant commitments will be confirmed before any public intake.

01 — Nomination or application

Potential participants may be identified through an approved nomination route, regional partner or future application mechanism. No public intake is currently open.

02 — Eligibility and review

The programme would review relevance, readiness, responsible participation and fit with available programme pathways. Selection would remain subject to capacity and final criteria.

03 — Programme matching

Selected participants would be matched with the most relevant development, relationship or platform pathway rather than placed into one uniform programme track.

04 — Mentoring and development

Where relevant and available, selected commercial, market, technology or business-development mentoring and capability-building activities may support preparation. This does not imply a confirmed mentor roster or fixed training calendar.

05 — International platform connection

Participants whose readiness and objectives align may be connected with an appropriate international platform or ecosystem. Any participation would require separate confirmation and would not be automatic.

06 — Follow-up and impact review

Future monitoring may examine participation, relationships formed, exposure gained and agreed development indicators. It would support programme learning and accountability, not represent current audited ESG reporting.

Programme status

NanoBridge is currently in development. Applications and nominations are not publicly open. Final selection criteria, governance, delivery partners, programme mechanics and timing may evolve as the model is validated. Public participation information will be issued only after approval.

Relationship with NanoTech Istanbul 2027

NanoBridge and NanoTech are distinct. NanoBridge is a participant-access programme in development; NanoTech Istanbul 2027 is Ladik’s flagship strategic platform in development.

NanoTech may become one of the international environments through which selected, appropriately prepared NanoBridge participants gain visibility, industry relationships or technology-ecosystem exposure. There is no automatic participation, reserved allocation or confirmed place. Other suitable platforms may also form part of the programme model.

How organisations may contribute

Subject to final programme design, Ladik is open to early conversations with organisations whose capabilities align with a responsible and practical delivery model. These are collaboration pathways, not priced sponsorship packages or confirmed appointments.

Mentor — selected commercial, market, technology or business-development guidance
Academic partner — knowledge, research context or programme-relevant expertise
Regional programme partner — participant identification and locally informed coordination
Participant support or sponsorship — support for approved programme activity, international exposure or eligible participation costs
Technology ecosystem partner — appropriate access to networks, platforms or specialist environments

Five-year ambition

The figures below express the intended scale of the programme over five years: more than 200 entrepreneurs targeted across more than 20 countries; more than 50 academic institutions and NGOs targeted for relevant participation or collaboration; and an intended communications and ecosystem reach of more than one million.

They are development targets, not completed results, current beneficiaries, confirmed partners or audited impact. Definitions and measurement methods will be refined before programme reporting begins.
